Yesterday we received news about a stork hit on the DK19 road. Subsequent findings revealed that it was one of the parents of a nearby nest in Baranówka, where three young had hatched. Fearing that the single parent might have difficulty feeding three sizable storks, we decided to help. The action of removing the young from the nest was organized by Kamil Piwowarczyk from the "Szansa dla bociana" association along with the owners of the property where the nest had stood for many decades. After successfully removing the young, they were transported to the aforementioned center, where they will be under the constant care of the owner and internet users who follow the live image from webcams.
