Fledged chicks
After many hours of persistent practice, Piórko, the oldest of the young storks, set out on his first flight. Although he landed on the roof of a neighboring house after takeoff, after a few minutes he gathered his courage and safely returned to the nest....
The oldest of the young storks is increasingly making flight attempts, and his progress is truly impressive. If all goes well, in about a week he may set out on his first solo hunt. In the recording, you can see how efficiently he handles the training....
Today's second breakfast was exceptionally varied – both a bird and a snake appeared in the nest. Two little storks had a small competition for the prey, but ultimately one ate the snake, the other the bird, and the third had to settle for scraps. Such meals are not a daily sight – it's rare to see a stork eating "pasta"....
Twenty days after the first chick hatched, the parents decided to remove the last egg. Thanks to this, it will no longer move unnecessarily around the nest. The whole situation took place during dinner, which can be seen in the recording....
Today, for the first time, the chicks were left alone in the nest. Although it only lasted a few minutes, they received a meal immediately upon the adults' return. The little ones are increasingly trying to stand up and starting to practice flapping their wings....
The chicks are growing rapidly. In over a week, they have become unrecognizable. The video next to it shows the feeding. Let's hope all the storks fly to Africa....
Our little storks are growing at an express pace! Within two days, three chicks have already appeared, and the family is almost complete. Now we wait for the fourth and final little one....
The second chick is already here! It hatched in the afternoon and, tired from the effort, immediately lay down on its older brother to rest for a while. We remind you that there is a special thread on the forum where you can submit name proposals for the young storks....

In recent days, scattered snow showers have been appearing in Poland, and Trzciniec was no exception. Before noon, just before 12 o'clock, it started to snow, although it melted quickly. In the video, you can see this momentary snowstorm at over double speed....
Around 1:40 PM, a fight for territory took place in our nest. Storks often compete for the best breeding spots, and such clashes can be very fierce. Fortunately, this time there were no losses – neither the birds nor the eggs were harmed. After a while, the storks flew away, and for now, the nest remains empty....
The predictions came true! A fourth egg appeared in the nest today. After a long wait and several failed attempts, Trzcinka finally laid another egg. Exhausted by the effort, she sat down to rest immediately after laying it....
Like two days ago, at 8:51 PM, Trzcinka revealed her latest creation for the first time. Storks lay eggs regularly every two days, so a fourth may appear on April 12th. Let's hope all the chicks hatch safely and one day leave the nest....
At 8:57 PM, we spotted the second egg in the nest for the first time. About 15 minutes earlier, the female revealed the view of the lone egg for the last time before another joined it....
Before midnight, the first egg appeared in the nest. The first to share this joyful news was chat user @krakuska. We can expect another egg at the end of the weekend, and the first chicks in early May....
