Since his arrival, the stork hasn't been idle – he's working hard to prepare the nest for his partner. He flies back and forth without rest, bringing hay and sticks. The results are visible to the naked eye – the nest grows every day! Storks can expand them to impressive sizes, and such a structure can weigh up to 500 kg. The largest recorded stork nest weighed about 2 tons. It was found in Germany and was 2 meters high and 2.5 meters in diameter.
