After midnight, Trzcinka laid the tenth egg and incubated it alone for the following hours. At noon, Przepiórek briefly appeared in the nest, but did not relieve the female from incubation. Copulation occurred, after which the male flew away, showing no interest in the egg.

Later that same day, the decision was made to remove the egg from the nest. The reason was a previous situation in which Przepiórek had thrown out successive eggs, including those that were his own, so there was a high risk that this egg would also be removed. Even if that hadn't happened, Trzcinka would not have been able to successfully incubate the egg and raise the young on her own.

After 1 PM, a lift and Kamil Piwowarczyk appeared on site. He skillfully removed the egg from the nest, and it was then transported to an incubator. After a week, the egg will be X-rayed to check if it is fertilized.

Due to the nest being monitored and the situation being continuously observed, it was possible to take action. In this specific situation, it was decided to attempt to save the egg and give at least one chick a chance.
