After three days, a longer interval than usual, Trzcinka laid her ninth egg, hoping for a successful brood despite the late season. Przepiórek was in the nest all night and returned in the morning, but did not relieve Trzcinka from incubating. We all hoped that with or without our help, Trzcinka would manage to raise at least one chick this year. Unfortunately, our hopes were dashed by Przepiórek, who threw the egg out of the nest before noon. The egg did not survive the fall from such a height, even though we had placed a protective umbrella under the nest.

We all put a lot of effort into helping the storks, especially Trzcinka, who doesn't give up despite her situation. Unfortunately, everything indicates that this year's season will end without offspring. However, we were able to learn a lot from the course of this year's season and will certainly use these experiences in the future.

For now, all that remains is to observe Trzcinka as long as she is still in the nest.
