Trzcinka does not give up; two days after the last egg, she has already laid the seventh. After the recent unpleasant events in the nest, it seemed that the situation was starting to turn around. Przepiórek, who until now had appeared in the nest irregularly and discarded all eggs laid by Trzcinka, this time initially left the seventh egg in a row.
Unfortunately, it was only a moment of hope. About two hours after it was laid, the male also threw it out of the nest, and thus another attempt ended like the previous ones. Immediately after that, he flew away, probably to his second nest.
Although it's already the end of April, it is still a suitable time to raise healthy and strong offspring. However, the situation remains uncertain, and if the current male continues to appear, he will most likely do the same.
Emotions are still high, and we are carefully observing the further development of events in our storks' nest.
