Two days after laying the last egg, Trzcinka laid another one again, hoping for a successful brood. This is already her eighth attempt.
At night, Przepiórka was not in the nest, so the female meticulously cared for the egg and incubated it until morning. Although Przepiórek arrived in the morning, he did not immediately throw out the egg. Trzcinka got up and sat on the egg again, while the male merely watched.
Unfortunately, just before 11 o'clock, Przepiórek threw out the egg again. Despite the makeshift protective net prepared under the nest, the egg unfortunately bounced off the nest and broke.
It is unknown whether a ninth egg will appear. The female is already approaching her natural limit. However, if another egg appears, we will be ready again to try and save it.
