Today, exactly 6 days after Trzcinka's arrival, we witnessed the first egg in the nest. Throughout the day, it was noticeable that the female was spending significantly more time in it, limiting her activity. As it correctly turned out, this was related to the imminent appearance of our pair's first egg.
Just after 10:30 PM, Trzcinka laid her first egg and immediately began to tenderly care for it. This is a unique and touching moment for us.
Observing previous seasons, everything indicates that the next egg will appear in 2 days. We can also expect that even more building material - hay and sticks - will now start to arrive in the nest.
